Warning: In addition to being explicit, the story is hard to follow and I suspect it was written just before deadline.

I placed it here because it seemed to fit the best. Yes, the main suspects are adults but the fact that they involved children is beyond despicable. We are speculating on another board that one of the boys might be the baby's father but time will tell. It won't be hard to prove or disprove nowadays.

If they are guilty, this will be the second murder in recent years in my region of a pregnant woman by another woman. The other was Bobbie Jo Stinnett, killed for her baby by a woman who said she wanted to buy a dog.

:rose: for Dorothy and her baby, and the children who not only will have to live with this forever, but God knows what their lives have been like.

Oh, and I would suggest that authorities investigate the death of the main suspect's husband a little more thoroughly.

I can't believe this story isn't national news.

Wow! That is sad. She was tortured for 2 months before she died? :(

The sickest story I heard was the one about the 2 year old that was abducted by the two teenage boys. The child was beaten through out the course of the day and at the end he was placed over a railroad track where a train severed his body. I literally cried after reading that story. :*(

The saddest part is that they believed that the 2 year old trusted the two teenagers and thought the the teenagers were just playing with mim. *heart broken* :(

That little boy was called Jamie Bulger and the boys who did that are out they only served 8 years.I t happened in Liverpool in England in 1993.They took him out of a shopping centre[mall].It really makes you think how low them boys were willing to go.It still makes me sad today, his mother on his 18th birthday let go balloons. It was on the news and it was lovely to watch.:rose:

Stories like this always strike a cord with me. I remember a similar one a few years back about a developmentally disabled man who thought he was going to get married, only to meet a fate like this. That story broke my heart.

My son is developmentally disabled and stuff like this terrifies me. Like the people in these stories, he's sweet, trusting and so unable to speak up for himself. I am so afraid of the things that could happen to him if and when I'm ever not around anymore to protect him.

The boys who murdered 2 year old James Bulger were only 10 at the time. The took him to train tracks in Liverpool and punched and kicked him, stood on his head, rubbed paint in his eyes, put batteries in his eyes and beat him with an iron bar. They then laid him across the tracks to make it look like an accident.
They were 18 when released and now live in England somewhere under new identities in a sort of witness protection scheme funded by us tax payers

I'm very interested to find out if she was related to anyone in the Quincy, MA area. I had a really bad experience with a Riley from that area backin the early 60's. If anyone knows anything about where she came from, etc. Somebody said she was abused & living with relatives. I'd love to know if she is related to Ed Riley Jr.

Just horrible.

Reminds me a little of the torture of Sylvia Likens in 1965. Her killer also involved her own children in her crime.

These people were from Quincy, Illinois, not Massachusetts.

I haven't heard any updates on this case recently, but if I do, I will keep you posted.
