Woman, About 60, Drug Runner?

I've been wondering why is the woman going back and forth so much, that she's seen by many witnesses.

If the child is Maddie, possibly they thought she would make the woman look "maternal" and innocent, but it's just calling atention to her instead. We can hope that's all they wanted her for, but probably there's more, right?

Usually she's somewhere in the Rif mountains, where drug lords are rumored to hand out, but also travelled 180 miles one day with the child if reports are correct.

Can we brainstorm about this? Might someone in the Tappas 9 know this woman, or some of the people she probably works for, know anything from TV about how drug gangs operate?

As we've all heard re Columbian drug lords, they operate mostly in the mountain areas? So does Bin Laden, we think, and these many Maddie sightings seem to be in the Rif mountains of Morocco.

I suppose that's not much to go on, and it's not the kind of shows I watch, so I know nothing on this subject. Thought maybe someone does. And maybe you have other ideas on why the woman seems to go back and forth so much, attracting so much attention.

They say dental records have proved Baby Grace isn't Madeleine. Right? I was going to say did Maddie have some light-up shoes.

The 24 yr old woman who says she witnessed an older woman getting into a taxi with a child she believes was Maddie, before Aug. 31, now says she has received an anonymous death threat from the mafia, I just read in Odette's
Updates Only thread.

So does this mean she was right on, as she says she saw the defect in Maddie's eye?

She wouldn't falsely report the threat to draw more (needed) attention to her story because officials there are denying it? Why wasn't it even reported in the papers until Aug. 31? (I don't have to remind most of us, I'm sure, use common sense and don't post any alleged personal dangerous secrets, that you yourself can't contain. They may not be concentrating as much as you assume, if you really do have a stalker or something.)

What's everyone's opinion about the news of the death threat? Surely none of us have received any?

Maybe this woman should never ever have disclosed her identity till it was all investigated? she has put herself and family at risk by allowing the tabloids put her fotos in the papers.

Feb. 9, 2008 I've got so many forums going, I think I'm giving up on this one, may just look in once in a while.

If interested, I have a bit of a statement in the JBR CL forum where someone brought up my name about a mutual experience in Where's Everyone Going When This Closes thread, approximately pg 4 and 5.

Don't know if I'd still get an email notification if pm'd, but if I do I might give anyone my email address if interested if you'd alert me if my name/nic ever comes up behind my back. It's just too much to keep up with.

I'll hear if there's any real news about Maddie, as in the Holloway case we've all heard about Joran's videotaped confession he disposed of her body. He doesn't say he actually killed her but there may be enough that he'd be brought to trial eventually. Thanks.
