A Sierra Vista man was arrested on suspicion of child molestation Monday morning after his girlfriend told officers she’d seen images on his computer of him sexually abusing a 4-year-old girl, an official said.

Robert D. Higgins, a 33-year-old soldier stationed at Fort Huachuca, was also arrested on suspicion of sexual exploitation of a child and tampering with or destroying evidence, said Sierra Vista Police Department Detective Mertie Stompro.

Higgins’ girlfriend call 911 about 12:20 a.m Sunday from a home on Skyline Avenue, near Town and Country Drive, saying she had seen the images, Stompro said. — continued: »

Goes to show you they come from all walks of life and all don't look like Chester the Molester. Look at the scum featured on To Catch a Predator. Several soldiers, doctors, lawyers, firemen, policemen, and a couple that worked for Homeland Security! This POS makes me sick. Why do they have to ruin the life of a child? How can anyone mess with a child? They are God's gift to us~~WHY WHY WHY. What do they care about except themselves! The thrill of it all, what they get off on, that's all that is important to them!

And then as compassionate people, we give them every opportunity starting with a trial and appeal process to give them the benefit of a doubt! House them for how many years, feed them, give them an education, access to Law Books and on and on and on!

I think what bothers me the most is the child didn't get the consideration that the criminal gets! To these pedophiles, the child is a nothing!

I think he does need a trial. To prove beyond reasonable doubt that he is a child raping piece of crap!!! Then about 20 minutes after the jury says guilty we need to take him out back and torture him to death. And I say let the mom and dad do it!! You know what is really sad about this, is that it is going to cost a crap load of money to put this scumbag on trial. On court costs, on housing him, on making sure his constitutional rights are met by paying for a lawyer. But how much money is anyone spending on helping the victim in this. Who is going to have to pay for the years of therapy for that kid. He sure is hell is not going to pay a dime. It is going to fall on that little girl and the rest of her family. It really upsets me when I see how much focus is put on the offenders and how little is put on the victims and thier needs.

I thought about all this last night until I did not sleep a wink. We bring children into this world, teaching them to love and obey their families and those that have authority over them. We take them to dress shop or clothing stores and they see that salespeople are 'good' and help with purchases, food vendors are 'good' they give you food, etc etc. Then one day you take this sweet child that you have taught to love, honor and obey and they are taken, raped and ruined for life. Now don't that just make you sick!!!! If we teach them to be afraid of their shadow they will not be production adults BUT if we teach them to be good this horror could be their life.
We need laws and enforcers of these laws. We need OUR freedom back!!

This piece of crap is worse than the soldier that is molesting kids. This guy is molesting his own daughter. This chaps my butt more than usual because I have a young daughter and couldn't do anything to hurt her. I even have to leave the room and cry(you guys better not tell anyone either!!!) if I ever have to spank her because it hurts me so bad. There are no words to describe this predator.
