I am (obviously) a new poster, although I have been “lurking” for a few weeks, and I sure do like what I have seen (this is a great site for lunatics like me!). Since I was not sure how to “launch off into the deep,” I’ll take my best shot, etc. Here goes…

#1, I was referred by someone that posts on Crimelibrary.com (I do not know her screen name, but my screen name is known to her as of this morning), and I sure am glad I got this referral.

#2, So many aspects of serial killers fascinate me. Why? I haven’t a clue, and I don't care Why. Fact is, they do fascinate me.

#3, “Jack the Ripper” is the serial killer that I have spent a great deal of time on, but most of them interest me.

#4, Compared to 99.9% of you, I know zilch about serial killers. This is good for me, for I can learn. For you? Well... :D

#5, Finally, I am still negotiating this website, so I may have just missed an answer to a silly question. That’s my fault, not yours.

So much for introductions (mine, that is). Thank you for allowing me to post, and if my questions seem silly in the future, overlook my silliness. I am almost impossible to offend, so don’t worry what you ask me or tell me.

I'll update my bio. Sooner or later. I think... :D

Welcome! :seeya:

I think a lot of us are fascinated by serial killers because it's something we can't understand. There are thousands of people who have bad home lives and they don't abuse others. But some people... And what's more interesting to me is the people who come from good, loving homes! Why do they kill? Spend some time reading stories at Crime Library (http://www.crimelibrary.com/). It's the best place to start! :)

Wait a minute. Could it be that I know you from another board? Indeed, I suspect that is the case.

Thanks for the welcome. I'll be nice and refrain (maybe) from debating.
