CLEVELAND — Authorities charged a Cleveland mom with two counts of aggravated murder Tuesday after the father of her two young daughters found the girls "lifeless" in a bathtub of water, police said.
Amber Hill, 22, was arrested

at her apartment after calling her husband to tell him that the children "are at peace," said Cleveland police Lt. Thomas Stacho. Hill remains in city jail on suicide watch.
A 2-year-old girl and her 4-year-old sister drowned, according to the county coroner, who ruled the deaths homicides.
Jamie Cintron, 23, the girls' father, told police he received a call at work from Hill, Stacho said.
"He received a phone call at work, rushed home and found both of the children lifeless in the bathtub of water," Stacho told FOXNews.com.
Cintron pulled the children from the tub and called 911.
"Both my daughters are laying here dead! Why? Why are my daughters dead?" a distraught Cintron told a 911 operator.
"My daughters are dead," Cintron repeated, "both of my daughters are dead!"

CLEVELAND -- A young Cleveland mother is accused of drowning her two daughters in a bathtub.
The girls' father, Jamie Cintron, was the one who discovered the bodies of 2-year-old Cesess and 4-year-old Jannelle in the bathroom of the Woodland Avenue home they shared with the girls' mother, 22-year-old Amber Hill.
Cintron talked to NewsChannel5 on Tuesday. He said Hill had seemed depressed in the last couple of weeks and even spoke of suicide, but he said he had no idea his children were in danger until he got a call from Hill while he was at work.
"I got on the phone and it's her, and I was like, 'What's wrong baby?' She said, 'I don't know how to feel anymore.' And I'm just like, 'Why? What's wrong? What's wrong?' She said the girls are resting in peace. She just hung up after that," Cintron said.
From the moment he got that phone call, Cintron feared the worst.
He rushed home to find his girlfriend but there was no sign of their two daughters.

I saw this hilighted on Nancy Grace tonight. They showed pics of the father sobbing in the back of a patrol car. The father of the girls said when he left this AM everything seemed fine. NG also had Amber Hill's Aunt on and she said it was an abusive relationship between Jamie and Amber.
So sad for these little girls. :rose: :rose:

$2M bond set for mother in tub drownings

CLEVELAND - A woman accused of drowning her two daughters in a bathtub wept in court Wednesday when a prosecutor noted the severity of the crimes and the girls' ages in asking for the highest possible bond. The judge set it at $2 million.
Amber Hill, 22, who is charged with two counts of aggravated murder, bowed her head throughout the brief court hearing. Her face contorted and she cried when assistant city prosecutor Gayle Williams said, "The victims being 4 and 2 years of age represent perhaps the most vulnerable in our society. They deserved the right to be protected."
Judge Lauren Moore set Hill's bond at $1 million for each child. Hill did not speak or enter a plea at the hearing in Cleveland Municipal Court.
The judge suggested Hill receive medical and psychological treatment after she is sent from the city jail to the county jail Wednesday.
Hill's attorney, Kathy Demetz, told the judge that Hill has no prior criminal record, is a student and is in medical and psychiatric need.
