HAMPSHIRE, UK (Crime Library) — On Sunday afternoon, two people walking their dogs found a girl's body hanging from a tree in New Forest, approximately 10 miles from Dibden Purlieu. There was little doubt as to the identity of the victim. The young woman's clothing matched what 15-year-old Rosemary Edwards (http://www.crimelibrary.com/news/original/0907/1201_rosemary_edwards.html) was believed to have been wearing when she disappeared earlier this month. Those suspicions were confirmed Monday when a post mortem examination confirmed the victim's identity through dental records. The search for Rosemary was finally over.
In the wake of the discovery, Rosemary's father David Edwards, 52, posted a brief message to Facebook.com (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=11048270421), notifying people of Rosemary's death.
"I am sorry to tell you that a body has been found that answers Rosemary's description," Mr. Edwards said. "Rosemary touched so many people's lives and it seems impossible to believe that she was so low that she felt life wasn't worth living."

According to the medical examiner, Rosemary's death was caused by ligature hanging. The death is not considered suspicious. For reasons unknown, the beautiful young woman who enjoyed nature and horseback riding had decided to take her own life.
That is so sad that life could be so bad for this child that she thought taking her own life was the only way out.
A :rose: for Rosemary.

A :rose: for Rosemary.
It is so Heartbreaking that so many teens are taking their own lives:rose:
I am so sad over reading about this suicide. Were these the only reasons she took her own life? Or are there more? Peer pressure? Relationship?  Sad that life has to be so bad that a teenager had to take her own life.

Hi Everyone,
Yes this is truly sad. She loved the outdoors. Her parents said they had no idea about this. He father posted on facebook.com telling everyone that her body had been found , They believe it is a suicide. No fowl play.
He said that she did not realize how many lives she had touched with her presents.she care about people.
The police i am sure will be telling more. I am sure they have evidence possibly a note, but what ever it is it lead them be believe it was not fowl play.
Hope we here soon:rose:

We are losing our children, this world has bombarded them with things that they are not prepared to handle at such early ages. No wonder they feel helpless and unable to cope. I can only say talk to them, no matter what you may be feeling, let them know everyday that you love them and that you are here for them, right or wrong...

What a shame. So sorry to hear this. Bless her soul.
I suppose they have evidence to rule out foul play, like a note, or they recognized whatever she used to hang herself, etc.

Unfortunately, talking to them does not always disuade them, sometimes I am not sure they believe that mom and dad love them, no matter what mom and dad say, no matter how often they say it. There is just some ---hole they seem to fall in. 6 years after my daughter attempted suicide, it seems we still have to deal with that hole.

Being Rosemary's age was the toughest years for me all until my junior year in highschool. Its very hard on children of that age that don't know how to cope. My sister at 15 made a very serious attempted suicide. And we still suffer from that as well. I don't think there is anything that any one person can do to prevent a child from suicide or depression. High school kids are the worst. And you really don't realize that there is a much bigger world out there. You are consumed in this high school scene and the smallest of problems seem so huge and there is no hope. Its very tough, and i feel for Rosemary's family greatly. :rose: May she never hurt anymore.

And most likely she would have felt much different in a day or so. Life is full of ups and downs. So sad:rose:

My heart goes out to her family during this terrible time. My hope is that she has found some kind of peace in death that eluded her in life. God bless this child and her family.:rose:
