Here you can find the sad news about Tybee: a beloved internet poster and Admin at Websleuths. (http://websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49552)

Say a prayer for her extended family.

She was a talented woman and a free spirit. She lived life to it's fullest. She was loved by many on the net. She will be missed by many, many people; not just her family.

Tricia has said there will be a thread on WS where posters can write the family their condolences, and information on the funeral will be posted also.

This is such a terrible tragedy. Tybee was so full of life and love for her family.

I am really struggling to take this in. She was always so patient and helpful.

My sympathy to Tybee's family and friends. I used to own WS and I didn't get to know her very well, this is so tragic. :rose:

I still can't believe she is gone. I know she is but she was the ever present one at WS. She would absolutely put you in your place if you crossed over a line and she would absolutely be there to back you up when you didn't. Her thoughts were fun filled with a great life she had with her family and friends on Tybee Island. Even though others were going through tough times she would share stories that gave you hope. She had a spirit about her.

I tend to think that Tybee is still here with us and giving us direction from afar. Maybe that is the reason she is gone from earth but available. I don't know but she is always the spirited one. She is the one that always looked at things differently. I remember her donning scuba gear looking for evidence in the Cindy Lynch case. That case has never been solved to my satisfaction and neither Tybee's.

I remember Tybee. I was just thinking about her today as I thought of how nice it would be to live near the water, just like Tybee. Then I felt sad, knowing that she is gone now. I miss her. I knew her at Websleuths and at CTV and it was always a joy to "see" her.

Just happened upon this thread today and saw that I was not the only one thinking of her.

For Tybee. :rose:

I am just starting out here so I did not know this woman Tybee.
Whenever anyone dies it is a loss for everyone.. whether we knew the person or not. On this journey of life we are all a part of one big family and thus we are all affected by the loss. I have enjoyed reading your posts about what a wonderful woman she was. I know you will miss her terribly. Please know that you all have my condolences and prayers in the loss of your dear friend.

Sometimes things happen. Mostly for a reason, sometimes not. Just from her picture, she is vey kind and loving. I've known her as a poster for years, but in the end, no-one really knows what's inside the souls and minds and what they have to face every day that maybe one day they can't or won't.

I would say rest in peace, but I think she'd like it better if we wished godspeed and fresh adventures and more people to care for.

Another purpose in another life, maybe. :rose:

Edited to say that her posts always showed her kindness and gentleness of spirit, and that's probably what most posters would miss. I know I will. God Bless.
