Hi guys,I am currently a fourth year law student from India.Ya, I am from India so please forgive any grammatical errors which may crop up in the writing.My english is a bit rusty.After going through your message board I didn't see any discussion on Indian serial killers,...neither I have seen the current news of Noida killings.So I am making my first post here,be a little kind and if you have any further question I will try to answer them.I am writing this article cause I didn’t come across the story of Surinder koli and his boss Mahender Singh Pandher in Crime library.I think it will be an interesting reading for you . In December30, 2006 every major newspaper splashed the story on the front page"Bucher of the children caught”. Over the last two years, at least 38 children mostly girls and few boys ,in the age group of 3-11 years had gone missing from Nitahri ,a semi rural village on the edges of upscale suburban town of Noida.Police has taken only 19 complaints and turned away rest of the villagers. Most of the families there, are illegal immigrants, so the villagers, whose children went missing were also reluctant to take the matter any further. Some villagers had for long suspected the house No. D-5 for being involved in the kidnapping but never pursued the matter with higher administration. The house was resided by a local businessman Mahender Singh Pandher and his servant Satish alias Surinder koli.Singh was separated from his wife, and his son was living in Canada.Satish’s father had died long ago.Satish has left home in search of a job, more than 10 years back. He has three brothers. To his fellow villagers Satish was,is and will always be a simple boy who never harmed anyone. But now it seems Satish,starting from early 2005 ,lured his victims mostly by offering them with sweets and killed them after sexual assault.Surinder in one of his primary confessions told police he was following orders of his employer Singh.Mahender has a lot of contacts who sent him call girls.But on the days he couldn’t get a call girl he used to ask Surinder /Satish to entice children from the area, and have sex with them and later kill them.satish used to stand on the gate of the house lured children but sometimes he successfully lured even local women. Few weeks ago villagers noticed clothes and slippers behind the house, and informed the police. Clinching evidence was obtained while investigating the kidnapping of a 21-year-old girl Payal. Her mobile phone was recovered from Satish. When police started to interrogate Satish he confessed killing her and later confessed his other killings,which led to the recovery of skeletons. On December 30,2006 at least 15 skeletons were dug up from the drain, later more bodyparts, clothes and bones followed. Police later confirmed existence of at least 17 bodies of which 10 had been identified . But what followed after the subsequent discovery of skeletons was sheer mayhem. Villagers ransacked the house ,i.e . crime scene.More than 1000 villagers threw stones ,blocked the traffic in that area and ransacked the house.The killings transformed into a political issue, where leaders quickly blamed the opposite political party and tried to gain political advantange.Police chiefs of three area were either suspended or sacked. The way skeletons were recovers showed the extent of idiocy and incompatibility of local police to collect crucial evidence. No proper evidence collecting techniques were applied. The skeletons were dug up from the drain by using crude instrument and earth remover. The crime scene became a mess. Later whatever was recovered by crime scene analysts and forensic experts, fierce mob destroyed the whole crime scene. The three points came to lime light were, 1. The bone pieces recovered had no flesh in them.2.Despite the killings having been taken place for three years, latest being three months ago, there was puzzling absence of stench. 3. the bodies were dumped into the drain but no street dogs dragged them out. Police were instructed to investigate the cannibalistic angle. Yesterday Satish confessed he was not only a serial killer but a cannibal,also.the torsos of the bodies were never found.Surinder/Satish confessed and showed the way how he would cut up the bodies, slit them down to the middle to access internal organs. He used to eat the livers. He was also a necrophile ,and sexually abused the victims after death and sometime chopped them into pieces.Some details of his confessions were not disclosed to the media because they are too gory.THE ONE IMP FACT,SATISH CONFESSD HE DID ALL THIS CUTTING UP AND EATING IN THE ABSENCE OF HIS EMPLOYER,WHICH TO AN EXTENT CONTRADICT HIS EARLIER STATEMENT. This is the positions until now. Several papers and news channels gave conflicting reports. The body counts have been placed from the range of 17 to 30,sometimes 22.The above report is what I made out after going through several newspapers. Many questions are still unanswered and many answers are ambiguas.I am waiting for the further development.So,are you guys are interested? tell me .Btw,Mahender has already a page in wikipedia, though it is not updated and inadequate as the case is still unfolding.Feel free to question me,I will try to answer them according to my abilty.
