Several years ago I read some articles in the paper about a serial killer. He lured children out of cars in parking lots where they had been left while their parents ran into stores for quick errands. The murderer was so into his crimes he would then offer the family his services to help look for the "missing" children. He would even go so far as to cook spaghetti and chili for the family, using body parts from the deceased children in the recipe.

Now that I am teaching I am trying to find out some info about this, and can't. Can anyone help. I live in Illinois and I believe it was a state close to me, and I believe the man was fairly young. He was been found and convicted, but I can't find any info on his crimes.

Thanks,

Pam

Would it be William Lester Suff. According to this site it was rumored that he cooked like you described. Ugh! http://www.mayhem.net/Crime/serial2.html

How disgusting and horrifying! :(

I hadn't heard of that case.
