T'was the night before the VERDICT and all thru the land.
Was amazement that the
'TRIAL OF THE CENTURY'
had came to an abrupt end.
All the pundits were so smug in their steads.
With dreams of CONVICTION dancing in their heads.
VERDICT DAY.
In the courtroom all the players were gathered sitting so near.
In hopes Judge Ito would soon appear.
When all of a sudden there was such a
glatter.
Oh, was just Vanatter.
As the nation stood in fear.
'NOT GUILTY' was announced to a tremendous
cheer.
After more than a year. O.J. was finally in the clear.
With great relief O.J.
thanked the jury.Hugged his lawyers and arose. Off to Rockingham he goes.
