Morley, UK - Late last night vandals damaged the Lewisham Park memorial for 10-year-old Sarah Harper, the victim of serial child killer Robert Black. The overnight incident is the second time the garden memorial has been vandalized. In July, vandals trampled across the garden and pulled up plants. The vandalism has outraged locals and as a result surveillance cameras have been installed in the park
During an interview with the Evening Post, Councillor Terry Grayshon, who knew the Harper family personally said: "When Sarah died there was an immense feeling of grief throughout Morley. Her death still touches people now. For those directly affected, of course, the terrible events are never forgotten, but when things like this happen, it brings it back."
