Sarah is the forgotten about case. She went missing right after Jessica Lunsford and didn't receive that much public attention. It was acknowledged in the National media that a registered SO had been charged in her murder but her name and that of her supposed killer are only mentioned in the local news anymore.

The Tampa Tribune

"TAMPA - Authorities released another report today showing negative results on potential DNA evidence in the case of David Lee Onstott.

Onstott is scheduled to go on trial in March on charges he killed 13-year-old Sara Michelle Lunde.

So far, authorities have found no physical evidence linking Onstott to the crime, according to documents released by the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office. "

Hello msgatorslayer! Didn't David Onstott confess to the killing of Sarah? I pray that the prosecution has enough evidence to convict this predator! Sarah, did not receive the same type of coverage as some of the other girls. Good people like yourself, have seen that she will not be forgotten! Sarah:rose:

Hey Prop. Hope all is well with ya.

Yes, Onstott confessed, but I don't recall the details of whom he told. IIRC, it was LE that he confessed to.

And there is also a letter that he supposedly wrote to another inmate in which he admits guilt that his defense is trying to say is a forgery.

But I must say that all this evidence that has no DNA match to him has me a bit alarmed and confused. Tire tracks don't even match to his vehicle.

This article doesn't mention the date, but his trial is suppose to start March 12th, exactly a month to the date after Couey.
