Does any one know for sure that Tara was last seen at the cook-out...what if there are those who have been questioned that saw her after the cook-out?
I have my reasons for placing this here. I am not saying this is true so before any one quotes me I am only throwing this out there due to information I received today.
:rose: Always for Tara
As a constant reader...I've never heard of anyone who saw her AFTER the 11PM departure time. We learned early about those 3 phone calls after 11PM but nothing else...that I know of.

That is what I thought to until today and now I am not so sure.
Maybe, just maybe this WILL be solved very soon.

We have not heard a name or person that saw her after 11 pm, but many of us speculated early that she changed clothes and left in her car. Some of us speculated that she may have went to the bar in Fitzgerald. She recieved a call from Megan who was at the bar. But we sort of left that theory because she was not seen by anyone.

I didn't always follow the boards religiously until recently so I didn't know the information you just posted or I just looked over it as non-important. Now...it makes sense to me that it is VERY important so thank you for the info.

The theory went like this. Tara got a phone call from Megan that MH was at the bar with a girl. Tara excused herself to Missy, saying she was so tired and went home. She changed clothes fast and was upset. Maybe throwing her stuff around and banging things. I act this way when I get mad. She took off to Fitzgerald or hid some where to catch him. And she did.
But I never heard anyone seen her.

I needed some humor. It does sound like that but I never became one because honest people don't make real good politicians.
If Tara did indeed go somewhere else and her house was made to look like she was abducted from home rather than her car being brought back the perps would have had her keys to let themselves in as many times as they wanted and thus lock the door on their way out...making every one believe that since her car was there she had been abducted from there. When in actuality her car was simply brought to her home in order to keep suspicions from arising once someone came looking for her.
JMO speculating

The car being there is definitely a diversonary tactic. Especially in light of the fact that her purse and keys have never been discovered. It all points to someone that knew her though.

and it also works with the theory that she could very well have been somewhere else, harm came to her sometime later, and then the clean-up began.

A very good speculation, remember the bugs on the car and the hunk of clay.

according to some Tara always locked her car...just as I do no matter where I am at...so the car wasn't locked and it leads me to speculate further that the perp slipped up on this little part of the clean-up.

Just brainstorming here, but if this happened, the perp would have to know, the Portier's were gone, (to the farm) right? I may need to go back and read, but I think NG transcript said, Mr. P said the car was there when they came home.....Somebody correct me, if I'm wrong.

Maybe Tara mentioned to whomever (the person she was dating, someone involved in the Sweet T pageant, the cookout, her school friends ... etc ...) that the P's would be away that weekend. This may have been a passing comment made a couple of weeks - to days - earlier. The conversation could have been as innocent as (example):
"Oh next weekend is going to be really busy; my neighbours are away at their farm, I'm pet-sitting, I have the girls coming round to prepare for the pageant - AND ... I have a cook-out that night - phew - so much to going on!"
This information may have fuelled the perp's decision to attack, abduct, approach or accost Tara that specific weekend. (Less chance of discovery).

Her name is Tara Grinstead and she is also a pageant director and she does my hair and makeup for local pageants. I am auctually her queen right now and we talked Saturday night until about 10:30 about me riding in the parade saturday and then we think she may have been abducted from her home. Her cell phone was left and her pocketbook was gone and the back door was unlocked. There was also a broken lamp beside her bed. We have searched since 2 am this morning and now im about to go to talk to the GBI becasue i was the 3rd to last person she talked to that night. Please keep Tara in your prayers. *69 calls are not always calls that are answered. If I choose not to answer my phone and then *69 to see who it was then I get the number so I guess what I am trying to say is that the *69 could have been a call from her mother, HD, or whoever was looking for her and to me it is not as relevant as some of the other things. Having been the victim of such on more than one occasion on these boards, I understand how these things can happen, even though we all know it's disruptive to the boards. Personal friendships and attachments are forged along the way, (at least that's how we might perceive them until the balloon bursts) and it's sad and hurtful to realize that disagreements/differences of opinions on a case, and groupie behavior e.g., can destroy those relationships. (This is what I meant when I said the sign of true respect lies in disagreement.)

You may not be a line toter but you sure are a revenge toter. Forget about TT that is in your past but you need to be called in with your vengence here on ctv...this has gotten tiresome. If it was just once in a while that can be over looked .....everybody is a smart a** sometimes but you are an every day pest we contend with. I think you're way off base on this one, but I don't care to try to explain. It's useless. CP hasn't been a victim of anything "on these boards," but she can frame it up any way she wants. Groupie behavior hasn't destroyed anything, individual behavior has. True respect, IMO, lies in being respectful, no matter what type of agreeing or disagreeing is going. Respect is respect, plain and simple. Some give it, some get it - and some don't.

I have racked my brain over my pm because I don't want to be listed as a liar. I can not remember a pm I sent to you but I may have. I reread you post and you said poster in question so I take this as fsb. FSB and I have pm's back and forth on TT and there are a couple of things (one in particular) that he and I totally disagree on. I can assure you it has not stopped me one second from communicating with him in pm's or on the board. I am sure he can tell your there are many things I believe that he does not agree with but he has not stopped any particapation on his part toward any of my post. Some of his thoughts I don't agree with but the same goes forward. One thing for sure he is a person who will tell you like he sees it and he does not wear two faces which has gained a lot of respect from my way. And I ask his opinion by pm on many things. So "if" I pm'd you something and mentioned fsb did not believe it or agree with it did you ever see it have any bearing on how I participated with him or any other member. I wear my big girl panties everyday and would be a total fool to expect everyone to agree with all I post because I do have enough sense to know I am not the brightest bulb in the room. IJM
BTW I think it will take more than this stone to tear apart some internet friendships. Just for the record...I did not want to address you again but I felt like I needed to tell this because I have little memory but I do not intentionally lie. I am what I am.

I have no idea if it is a yes or no. BenHill provided a lot of information but has not participated in a while. BenHill posted he liked to go to the White Horse maybe on a Thursday. Not sure...Which is not a problem with me and I meant no disrespect to BenHill. If someone wants to take a break from life and enjoy a few at a saloon I say go for it.... I think we all have our own personal ways to relax and enjoy life.
Your reply is exactly why I made a joke about what you posted. You wondered about this "so called information" My take on you is you are here to offer nothing to the search in finding Tara but to add your delusion on the board. The only reqret I have is I included BenHill in my joke and I really meant him no harm so I humbly apologize to BenHill if he ever reads and to everyone for including BenHill going to the WhiteHorse to reply to something totally worthless and should not have been replied to in the first place. Carry on Wildfire. IJM

Can I prove what? (fsbiii asks the coward who posted the negative reputation knocker recently!) Is that fun for you sickos? I hope this won't get me an infraction for being 'uncivil' since it's really not directed at anyone but the anonymous slime who have taken this useless "reputation" system to forge their new vile attacks on people for no reason.... It is sad that they are waisting their time on giving bad reputations instead of discussing Tara. Many of us remain here for Tara that some day we may know what happened to her. Several good posters has been given a bad reputations for a post saying thanks for your help all the way to just providing a link. This tells me they aren't even looking or reading a post they are looking for a posters name because that can only explain a bad reputation for a thank you or providing a link being helpful so now that they can post crude comments without having to post to get to us they seem to have disappeared from the boards. Has anyone else noticed the post count down again except for the ones that are really trying to get to the truth? Once again they prove who are here for Tara and who are not! JMHO

FSB I have given the new reputation addition a lot of thought and I totally disagree with not adding your nic where there is a positive or negative. I am not allowed to post or send a pm without my ID so I will be held accountable for what I post of send to someone. Several years ago I would receive hang up phone calls after saying something negative toward my family or me. I reported this to the phone company and they would put a monitor on my phone but before they would do this I was told the caller would be prosecuted. Why would they be prosecuted.......stalking. What is the difference here with the hidden negative reputation knockers? IJM
BTW the answer to your question yes it is fun for them just like it was fun for the person calling my home. Too bad CL don't have the same standards as the phone company. MHOO

I'm turning off my reputation monitor so those that get a kick out of attacking can find another means. I'm sure they will. Sick fools.

Thank you for the bad reputation for caring about Tara and for proving my point in the same post that you are indeed not here for Tara! Again I thank you for proving my point!

I had not thought about doing this. I just did the same and in doing so I read my reputations. I have received some negative but not really bad ones and I truly appreciate all the positive ones. I appreciate each poster who is sincerely here for Tara even if we strongly disagree on issues. But I simply have no respect for people who come here only for the purpose of sowing discord. And I do not like the reputation with no name attached. If anyone would like to send me a pm to point out something I post for a negative or positive reason please feel free to do so. I'm not a FW reporter so don't worry....Only threats would be reported. Posting negative remarks about me on the board is also fine at least I will know who you are. IJM

Mine is off, as well. I have only had one negative remark which I would consider constructive criticism, the rest were just plain goofy. Thanks for the compliments, but I think I will post my opinions and remarks on the board for all to see. Has everyone voted on the poll regarding the "Reputation" system?

I think that's very good advice. I see no reason to attack posters' opinions via the reputation system. It is a cowardly way to just be mean. IMO.
You are so right there, Brooklyn. Its given some posters new life,( another form of deflection)IMO,but I dont even go there.I could care less what the cowards have to say.

I agree 100%!!
FW, this reputation idea might work on other sites, or even other boards here at Crime Library - but NOT on Tara's board! It's just not cool.
It's like giving a loaded gun to children.
I disabled mine too.

It's like giving a loaded gun to children or adults who are mentally challenged, socially inept, and/or emotionally unbalanced. There. *dusting off hands* That should just about cover it.
I disabled mine too.
I disabled mine, too. No way anyone was going to be given a fair and unbiased vote.

 I think you got it covered. Just a shame that their guns are loaded with such poisonous venom. What's the point, really?
This reminds me of one of the kid shows on Nickelodeon...I guess I'm not the only one that got "slimed", lol.

And the more mean points earned, the higher the rating?
Oh, yeah!!! Than someone would end up with The Queen of Mean title.
Maybe it should be a reverse rating system. The more negative comments you get the more points you get. It's just a shame that differences of opinions on a case that has virtually no hard clues should cause such hateful comments. Of course, it's just my opinion but I don't like ugly. JMO.

IMO

LOL..:D :D .
What some memories.
I also want to add..I dearly love my Internet friends I've meet on Tara's boards. It was great getting to meet you R and also all the others that are what we call Family. (Too many to name) Some great people that will have a special place in my heart forever.
FWIW..I wonder if some people envy this kind of friendship. fep
