Someone stated that the neighbors had some farm land that they were about to pour concrete over. I never suspected them, but shouldn't every scenerio be checked.

There will be those who say I am incorrect but I assure you that zoning and permits just depend on the SITUATION....know what I mean???

IMO Mr P should be polygraphed too with all suspicious acts he did and I cant believe that a neighbor has a key not only to the house but even to Tara's car. How many people nowadays will give a key of their car to a neighbor.. I could understand a house key but never heard of a car key ....

How I wish Nancy Grace had not cut Mr. P off when he began to talk about when Faye called them!!

I was trying to do a timeline and that was a HUGE thing! And noone from any other media source has asked or had Mr. or Mrs. P answer it. Maybe Dateline will get it done!

On Saturday night the JPs were home, however, Faye says that when she called MRS. around 12:30 AM MONDAY morning, that MRS said they had been away most of the day. Mr. P said during his interview he was at the Farm both SAT (until 7/8PM) and then returned the next morning until around lunchtime. No idea where they were for the rest of the day. I am NOT incenuating any wrongdoing on their part.

In my mind - this opens the door for SUNDAY afternoon to maybe be the time when Tara left (and not under her own steam) - neighbors gone until late and weekend LE force. Mom did not really start to worry until later in the evening. HD tried to call x times but did not feel compelled to go there until later that night (though I gotta say not gaining entry with Mr. P by his side bugs me so much!)

I keep wondering if someone was waiting for her in her house when she returned home from the BBQ. Remained there until the next day and then left with her.

Did LE take her bed linens for testing? They did not seem to take much - and that has bugged me! And if JP straightened up surely he did not vaccum did he? ANd even if he did - why not process the vacuum bag- if there is one, just to be safe?

Especially with that necklace being found and the drops of blood by Dr. Godwin way after the Police should have fully processed the house.

And for that matter - you mentioned on a separate thread - all of the contamination that occured by people having access! But even with this- if semen or saliva or a hair or ... was found through the proper processing of those bed linens - I think it could have really helped move this case along.

Am I being unreasonable?
Not at all, IMO the bedding, clothing (the items she was last seen in), carpet, dishes,, towels, and whatever else may have dna, hair, and fingerprinnts on it!

Wouldn't they have to obtain a building permit for a new house?

Wonder when the new house building actually started....

Just a rumor. Sorry, I don't have a *link* but that's just a rumor.

I'm sure it was a rumor as well.. The P's have been very cooperative and thought of Tara as their own daughter.. I can't remember exactly but I think this was discussed before when some were pointing the finger at Mr P.. I'll have to search for it.. I believe Ocilian knows the P's.. Or perhaps it was another local.. can't remember.. will search for links later on..

Let me clarify my brainstorm I'm having at the moment. I'm thinking if the perp is the one that returned Tara's car, it sounds likely he knew the P's weren't home...he knew where the P's were and most likely what they were doing. The perp could have placed a body or evidence on their property, thinking....new construction... evidence will never be found.

Sorry if it sounded like I was implying the P's. I'm sure they have as much, if not more, heartache in all of this, as we all do.

JP had a key to her home (and someone posted even her car!) -- who BESIDES the JPs knew this and could gain access to Tara by using or duplicating those keys?

Hadn't thought of this yet......Very, Very Good Idea, to be looked into.

"How many people nowadays will give a key of their car to a neighbor"

I live downtown and for the past 25 years my retired neighbor has kept a spare house key for nearly everyone on the street, including some of the renters. The only time she has a car key is if someone is going out of town for a week or two and is leaving a car parked on the street - the city will slap street cleaning signs up in a heartbeat and they start towing early in the morning. She won't drive any of the cars...I get to do that.

She also takes in UPS/Fedex deliveries for most of us. Some of my vendors even ask about her when I place an order. :)

Theory - question. Would it be considered a crime if for instance: there was someone staying at the P's thought a burglar was breaking into the storage building in the backyard and shot him only to find out that it was Tara fetching her cat? What a horrid thought, but accidents do happen. Unless the gun had a silencer I would think someone in the neighborhood would have heard. But if you’re not familiar with guns/sounds you might dismiss it for a car backfiring or fireworks and not even remember it happening several days later.

Wasn't there another Ocilla guy at the pageant talking with Tara? His initials are BS, I believe.

Wasn't there a male judge at the pageant talking with Tara? His initials are NO, I believe.

There were several guys at the pageant; daddies, brothers, uncles, friends, etc.

And hasn't JP admitted having a key to the house and putting his key in the door to unlock it on Monday morning?

I didn't take anything out of context or "repost" something you didn't say. You said you didn't know who else had a house key - I pointed out that Mr. P has admitted having one. You said you didn't imagine there were many men at the pageant, and I pointed out a few off the top of my head that were there.

What's the problem?

you guys need to go to a southern pagent for little girls. Their uncles, grandaddies, cousins, daddies, nephews, and every relative under the sun comes to watch their beauty walk across the stage. When you live in small towns, recreation is limited so when you have an event like the Sweet Potato Pagent everyone goes. It's a big ordeal in the south for children and thier families.

Did any news channel/person interview the neighbors to the right of TG's house? What about directly across the street? Mr. P's house is not positioned to see much at all...besides the light signal they had. I would think, unless unoccupied, someone might have heard/noticed something.

Sassy, thanks for taking the time to answer. I didn't know anyone was looking for the neighbors. Hopefully a new tidbit or two will surface!
