Someone was telling me today about a sexoffender that had attacked a woman this week in ashburn. They said he was released and got to ashburn in late June. He had attacked before and now again. how far is Ashburn and could there be any connection with this guy?

Are you kidding? I really don't mean to be offend you or be rude but this is not rocket surgery. We are dealing with a tremendous imbalance of corruption and justice in our community. I may have to apologize to you one day for this but please....go to bed or watch the rest of American Idol or something.

I think the sex offender is a valid question. It seems like some of you people want to make one person guilty (MH) and not look at any other option. I am not from this area and do not know anyone involved here. I have been reading these boards for a while now. I don't think MH would have a motive to kill. Dating an 18 year old is no motive. 18 is an adult the last I heard at least. I think the sex offender is a good theory since the stalking idea from godwin. I still think HD needs look into more. The 20 calls is very obsessive and then at the scene of the crime but doesn't try to get in her house to see if she is ok? strange!!

I thought it was a good question to ask, I personally don't think thats what happened but still a good question! The responses to your post actually kinda surprised me, a little condescending IMO. Anyway welcome to Courttv!

In light of Dr. G's statement earlier, I believe that before the locals are lynched we should take the time to read this article on Serial killers and look at the similarities with the explanation and this situation.
I for one, cannot discount the theory of this being a random act.
I have read on this board a few weeks back about other unsolved murders in this district and infact one on the very same weekend.
While the whole board debates which local committed this crime, the killer may be out plotting his next attack.
Please take the time to read the article and be opened minded enough to explore the possibility
this is the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_killer
Please take special not of the parts under the heading Types of serial killers and the rest of the article after that.
If you are hell bent on seeing MH put away for this crime, you may very well have to apologise at some time in the future.
It does say in the article that familial murders are somewhat easy to solve, unlike this one. All these people of interest that are being crucified on this board may be innocent and their lives are being destroyed by gossip and innuendo. Have you ever stopped to think that MH, HD etc may be realing from this and miss Tara as much as you all do, they cannot show their feelings or say anymore because of what my be used against them. MH was branded for this by AG on the very first day and has had to fight for his innocence ever since. I have no idea who did this and I only hope it can be solved soon.

You are referring to the comment AG made directly to MH when she found out Tara was missing. My thoughts are that AG must have had her reasons for making that statement or I believe she wouldnt have said it the way it was said. JMO

I agree that some of the local POI's have been already found guilty by some holier-than-thou know-it-alls on this board, but is it not just as irresponsible to assume there has been a homicide? How can you make that jump? Obviously some folks should be questioned, but IMO to assume a homicide has taken place is not much different than assuming someone is guilty.
I feel for the family in this tragic disappearance and hope and pray there is some closure soon.

lol, ben... :) Everyone?
Woe betides anyone else, that is, who erroneously messes up a time line and/or reads rampant stories, posts and published articles stating/quoting things about Tara's private life.

Ocillian, didn't you just get through giving us a mini-course on proper posting etiquette and now you are calling J4T ignorant?
Did I miss something or do the rules only apply for when you need them to and not for yourself....Did you learn that from some of those local LE people???

I just have to ask benhill.
If you feel that your local LE is so horribly corrupt and such pea brains - why on earth do you continue to live in the area? You have unmercifully trashed the whole lot of LE in your area over and over. You say you live in Fitzgerald so I assume you mean Ben Hill County sheriff's department and Fitzgerald Police. I don't know what your affiliation may be with Ocilla and Irwin County so it's hard to tell if you are talking about them too.
The joy of living in America is that you have a choice and a voice. What have you done to exercise your rights?
You are right...I am very quick to complain about our local LE....both Ocilla and Fitzgerald. I have relatives in LE and I still think corruption runs rampant...that doens't mean I think all LE is corrupt. I live here because the same things take place in other areas of the country but sometimes when you actually know the cover-ups it makes you even madder than just realizing that corruption is there. I am very much an advocate of exposing the "system" that seems to rob us of what we all want and deserve....to live in a society that truly looks out for the underdog rather than lining the pockets of a few sometimes at the expense of others.

Ooops ... I should amend that sentence of mine before WW4 breaks out, lol :)
Please read as:
"..... and or reads false stories, posts and published articles..."
I'm supposing there may be a few law suits after this mess is all over regarding Tara's alleged affair with HD. I don't live in the US and those stories reached my residential shores ... It's shocking those things can be printed. On forums and tabloids, etc, it's different - but in respected columns? Gee.
Anyways, waiting for justice for Tara.

You must not have gotten very much sleep last night....I guess it is hard especially knowing that after this weekend we may be closer to the end of this nightmare.
By the way...."If" J4T insinuated that you may be going down that scares the heck out of me because how many more besides the 2 we are pretty sure of were involved could have been so consciousless as to have allowed this debacle of legal justice to proceed and continue for the last 5 months.
I for one hope that no one else is involved but the 2 that probably are about to be found out for sure....but gosh....it is scary to think that any more accessories could be out there.

WHEN the truth eventually emerges, and indeed it appears this will happen fairly soon, I think Tara's family, friends, loved ones and the local residents (etc) will be horrified to know that up to a couple of people have been 'acting normal' right under their noses.
I think the emotional tide is certainly going to turn. Strongly.
Justice does prevail one way or another... I pray answers are found v soon.

Who are you referring to and what does this weekend have to do with it?
the search that is going to take place tomorrow that's location has not been revealed to only a few. And the 2 are the 2 that CB indicated in her statement....this wasn't a solo deal. It was a twosome....so to speak.

It seem that everyone has gotten off subject here, so I just wanted to say that I am from Ashburn and it is about 30 minutes from Ocilla and Fitzgerald. However, the man that is in question seemingly knew that woman that was involved, and I don't think that he had anything to do with Tara's case. In any case, he probably had no transportation to that area anyway (many of our poorer citizens do not have reliable transportation--as I am sure is the case across much of the south). Hope that answers your question.
Thanks Amberh, you gave me the answer to my question and I appreicate it.
