I would also like to know the latest updates. I have been following this story from the beginning and it continues to puzzle me. I am impressed with everyone's continued efforts in searching for Tara. What an impact this has had throughout the nation. I appreciate the efforts of everyone on this blog to continue to keep everyone as updated as possible.
Although I have always considered it a stong possibility that someone very close to her has done this, I continue to dwell on the fact that it may have been someone that she was taking classes with, someone that may have only been remotely known to others. Possibly someone not known really in her community/neighborhood, but a brief male encounter or new male friendship that had developed. One thing I havent read is whether or not anyone heard a vehicle pulling up, honking, vehicle leaving, an engine. What if the guy showed up at her house, knocked on the door & she let him in? Then they went for a ride? Just some questions......
It's always so shocking to me when individuals just "vanish" and go missing without a trace. I hope that Tara will be found soon and bring some closure to her friends and family. :rose:

I agree that there is the possibility that this is someone she met because of her night classes. Either in class, hallway, parking lot or diner. Someone that even her friends didn't know about. Yet.
I understand that these "LDT" sessions can be quite humiliating to go through. I would like to believe they weren't being harsh with Dr. Gattis just becuase he was getting in their way investigatively, but I can't say that's not a possibility.
I hope they keep questioning him only becuase it is helping to implicate someone else. That would mean they have SOMETHING to work with. They might be bringing him back BECAUSE he talked with the students at the night college. Maybe something they asked dealt in some way with that angle.
I watched the interview and I did not get the impression that he was guilty of anything untoward with Tara. I got the impression that Anita was simply overwhelmed with things at the moment. I don't think the interview was flattering or helpful to the case, but was done because the Gattis' were frustrated and annoyed at LE for "harassing" them when they believe far more likely people are not being grilled like this.

possibly... there are so many possibilities but I do believe she knew the individual... if infact she was abducted which seems reasonable.. Wish I knew..

and really there is nothing to it... well for me. They put a strap around your chest (this was the worst part cause I dont like strangers touching me!) They had a clip on my finger and maybe something else its been a long time.
then they ask you yes/no questions. First starting off with Name DOB etc. Then they ask other questions. If they get a jump in readings they might stop it and ask you about that question. First they asked me if there was anything I wanted to tell them upfront. Then they asked me if what I told them about what the only time I ever did that... like that. Really not all that bad for me..

I think it's important for us to remember that Harper is the only person, to our knowledge, who has submitted his OWN polygraph results. He did not get the "2 big guys in the small room" treatment, the art of surprise, the questions FROM THE GBI agents in the heat of the moment. He had a chosen environment, a chosen polygrapher, and just submitted it to the GBI for their approval. He also paid for it to be given to him.
Also, if the GBI is giving a poly to Larry Gattis at this late stage, I don't think they have anything firm on anyone else. Sure, they were mad at him and his wife for blasting them on t.v. and going around digging and asking their own questions to students, friends, etc.--and they had apparently talked to Larry Gattis on 4 prior occasions about those things (and other things, I'm sure). But to give him a poly 90 days into this? I think it speaks a lot to the status of this investigation.

Excellent post Fsbii. GBI needs to reorganize and place new people on this case. Either D. Turner is stale or is not the best person for investigating this case.

Harper is just almost TOO obvious. Something just tells me it's not him. Of course it's a major possibility, but I'm not feeling it. Can't Dayle Hinman get involved? There's some MAJOR help needed here, from some REAL professionals. I mean, how does this happen???? Just vanished!!
It seems to me that no one really knew enough about Tara and what was going on in her life. Usually people have one or two really close friends that they share their troubles with, ask advice, cry on their shoulder, etc. Everyone keeps saying that she was emotionally distraught over her failed relationship, but what else was going on in her life? We've all been through rough breakups, but even during that there are still other things going on in our lives. What was else was going on in hers?
I think that she tried to stay really really busy all the time, obviously with all of the classes she was taking, pagents, probably after school tutoring for the kids............in order to get over the relationship. We all know there comes a point when, as part of the process of healing and moving on you go on a date or two with someone new that you just met........OR someone that you already know (that's possibly asked you to go out before but you've always said no because you were in a relationship). (possible clue there)
My point is, if you were to ask my family at any given point what was going on in my life, they may not be able to give you detail for detail, but they could tell you the important basics....and I have at least one friend that could tell you EXACTLY what's going on in my life!

One weird thing about this POLY is ( i guess) ... ......
why AGENT Dominic turner doing this POLY TEST with him together with a polygrapher? Isnt that a POlygrapher will do the POLY by himself to Larry alone?

I agree. Someone DOES know something and I think it is LG. What if the person she confided in was Larry? Or, maybe LG accidentally found out about some things, saw something (or someone) and TG asked him not to tell her sister? It seems like they were closer than TG and her sister.
Does anyone know how long MH and his GF had been together? Is it a fact that the girls parents did not know about their relationship?
What about this long time police friend of hers?

Of course it is possible that the girl's parents had no clue about her relationship. Girls do not tell their parents everything. For centuries, girls and boys have told parents they were with so & so (a friend) when really with someone else.

I was asking because I read someones post that said that MH and TG got in a "heated discussion because the GF was 18 and TG found out. She threatened MH that she was going to tell the girls parents." If that was the case then her parents did not know about her relationship with MH.
I was trying to figure out if any of those statements about the GF were actually true.
