Janet was on Greta last night.

Basically she said that she will most likely not attend the trial bc there will be too much info she doesn't want to know/hear.

She said she does want her chance to meet him face to face, but will wait until sentencing.

She said that she does not believe and I quote "Taylor would have been with him again". She thinks he's telling lies, all of it. She also feels the bag shows pre-meditation (which I keep saying) and that Taylor did not have/or would have had anything like that in her car.

She thinks there could have been a second person, because of the dogs scent to Jesse and she wonders why.

She said she believes they are having the Grand Jury now, there will be the idicment and he will be charged soon, but that the police are sticking w/just one person having done thats.

She also mentioned that she is concerned that Taylors car was closer to Jesse's house than Ben's and why that was.

She said she found out about his confession right after the funeral and asked reporters to give her one day before leaking it and she said one did and one did not, as we know.

That poor woman. I feel so awful for her. I wouldn't want to be at that trial either if it was my daughter.:(

Re Jesse's scent being picked up in Taylor's car, I am thinking that BF attempted to frame Jesse for Taylor's murder, and that BF might have been the person who broke into Jesse's family's homes.

In support of this, among the items listed for LE to search for in the warrant issued, were burglary tools.

I wonder if BF's camera/equipment he claimed was taken when he was "abducted" was in Jesse's family's home. BF might have done something like this hoping to form a nexus between his "abduction" and Taylor's disappearance, with Jesse Schultz as the fall guy.

IMO

I don't think he was that bright, lol. I don't know where he put the camer, if there was a camera. He may not have even had one, but he's sick, so my guess is he did and he took pictures. It could be ANYWHERE, including buried somewhere. How would he get someone elses scent in her car? The break-in was after they found his scent, not before.

Her mother wants to know how long scents last and if it was from a long time ago when she might have given him a ride or something. The mother implied (or at least that is the way I took it) to think Jesse did know Taylor and that he's lied about that.

BF's prior behaviors lead me to believe he is capable of planning to blame someone else for something he did. So I still feel he could have attempted to frame Jesse.

Psychopaths can be very bright. That's just one of the things that make them so downright evil. They know very well how to manipulate people and situations so their own needs are satisfied regardless of who they might damage.

Lately, I haven't looked at how close the car was parked to Jesse's aunt's house/his apartment, I look at how far it was parked from Taylor's dorm - the opposite end of the Fan.

Richmond folks -- it's been a long time since I've been down in that area.

Is North Boulevard a major road?

Researcher! I couldn't have said it better myself. Benny-boy has been so devious he crafted his abduction story (and subsequent journal postings) to draw Erin into the mess. He was kind enough to point out (not so subtly) that her fued with him was probably behind his abduction. I believe he was trying to draw a line between what happened to Taylor (if that was ever discovered) and Erin. I also think he doubled down by planting the car near Jesse's home.

If you look at the map which shows the fan district, you can clearly see the car, Jesse's place, and Benny-boys old apartment are all in the same area. That tells me that Ben was exceptionally familar with that particular section of the fan since most of his travels are by foot or skateboard.

Did anyone really think he would return the car to his new neighborhood? If his stories are told to distance himself from the situation then the handling of the car would be just as consistent.

Deflect, deflect, deflect. This guy is so predictable it isn't even funny.

I agree with you completely Researcher!

Also take a look at Nibblet's thread on Ben's arrest record. It appears he was arrested for a string of car thefts and burglaries.

In addition, within the items listed for LE to look for, on the search warrant issued for BF's house, included among them are "buglary tools". Perhaps LE was also thinking BF might have been the person responsible for breaking into Jesse's family's homes.

I'm just a few miles outside the city, but, don't go down that way very often. There is a Boulevard exit off I-64.
