Today was Taylor's funeral and her family deserved to have one at least one day to grieve for their only child. Leaking Fawley's 'confession' to the press today was wrong, very wrong.

You could've waited. Their daughter had barely been lowered into the ground before they had to deal with this latest development at the behest of Ben Fawley.

The Behl family deserved more professionalism, dignity, and sensitivity than this.

I completely agree with you here but I doubt this came from the top. More likely word of mouth around the jail or police station got out to the press. I blame the constant ratings race in the local news media for letting that "nugget" out in such an uncouth manner!

I totally agree with both of you! What a nightmare to learn something such as this on the day of your only child's burial.

I would bet that Taylor's family had already been notified of the confession.
Just like in the Laci Peterson case ....her family knew first hand what was going on in the investigation...they just could not say anything until the right time.
Taylor's mom knew right away the body found was her daughter because of the clothes that were there....but that did not come out in the news until her mom admitted it.

also you did not see or hear an offical announcement from the authorities about this confession so I would not blame them for the story being released in the media....if you want to blame anyone it should be the media they do not have much consideration for anything but their scooping everyone else.
Think about it folks......

I believe that's what Austana was saying. Blame it on the media.
