license plate collection?

where did BF's collection of license plates disapear to... I noticed in the search warrant that the officers were to seize any license plates found at BF's home, but there are none listed where it states what all they took from his home.

The only references I've seen about the collection are always hand in hand with his Nowhere Van. It's possible the collection went the same place the van went to: the junkyard, years ago.

I purposely blew up the photos of his apartment looking for any signs of license plates on the walls, etc. Plenty of street signs, but I never saw a license plate. (Other than the ones on the inside of the van)
