View Full Version : BF's DeviantArt Pictures of Taylor (NOT THUMBNAILS!)

Hey everyone
I've been lurking on this board for a while and decided to register. I actually graduated from HS at James Madison HS in 2002 and my sister graduated with Taylor last year.
But that's not the reason Im here. I found something today that I don't think anyone has seen yet. I know everyone has BF's deviantArt thumbnail page....which can be found at:
http://search.deviantart.com/searchcraft/?cmd=1&offset=0&search=taylor+skulz
We all thought that Ben had deleted these pictures. Well, he may have deleted the pictures off his page, but they still exist on the deviant servers and I found them.
Here's how I did it and then I'll give the addresses to all of them.
If you right click and check the properties of one of the thumbnail images, you get its web address. For example, here is the first one:
http://tn1-3.deviantart.com/100/fs6.deviantart.com/i/2005/106/3/7/Taylor_in_the_sun_by_skulz.jpg
With that info, I had everything I needed. I guessed, and was correct, that the "tn" in tn1-3.deviantart.com stands for thumbnail and tn1-3 is the thumbnail server. You'll then notice there's another web address after that: fs6.deviantart.com. I guessed the "fs" stood for fullsize and that this basically was pointing to where the full size image could be found. So what I did was delete everything before that fs6 getting the following web address:
http://fs6.deviantart.com/i/2005/106/3/7/Taylor_in_the_sun_by_skulz.jpg
and VOILA! There was the full sized image! Here are all the URL's of the full sized images:
http://fs6.deviantart.com/i/2005/106/3/7/Taylor_in_the_sun_by_skulz.jpg
http://fs6.deviantart.com/i/2005/106/4/d/Taylor_under_a_tree_by_skulz.jpg
http://fs6.deviantart.com/i/2005/107/d/8/Taylor_on_Belle_Isle_by_skulz.jpg
http://fs6.deviantart.com/i/2005/106/b/9/Taylor_in_the_sun___3_by_skulz.jpg
http://fs6.deviantart.com/i/2005/112/5/b/_by_skulz.jpg
http://fs6.deviantart.com/i/2005/106/2/f/Taylor_in_the_sun___2_by_skulz.jpg
If you do a search for Skullz on the deviantArt site all of his images will come up, including the ones he deleted, so just do this same trick to view those pictures too. There are some pretty disturbing ones, considering his charges.....such as this one that he thought he deleted:
http://fs7.deviantart.com/i/2005/187/e/8/Ready_to_drive_the_boys_crazy_by_skulz.jpg
For once my computer "hacker" skills came to some use.
If Im not the first one to find this please tell me, but I'm pretty sure I am.

This is the first time I have viewed the pics full size. Thanks for sharing.
I would really like to see the other pics that he thought he deleted. Going to see if I can figure this out.
Thanks and welcome to the board. :seeya:

Ben needs his ahh whooped by someone's daddy! That photo with the little girl is called, "ready to drive the boys crazy" and she's doing that anime Kokoru thing with her knees. This little girl is in "school girl gothic" attire... stuff I wear to out to clubs! It's also called Yoyogi and OMG, it's totally inappropriate for girls under 15. It's really big in Japan and I don't have time to explain it now but I think I know where Ben got into the child porn. It starts with those Pokemon looking "anime" (Japanese cartoons) a lot of them looking innocent but dressed like a hooker or something. It's such a "wannabe Goth" thing EVERYWHERE! Oh man... I figured he was into anime by the way he kept designing his own gifs and the ReDevil on the back of his skateboard. Hmm... yeah, the porn was his.
I am blown away... (and disgusted that he lensed that pose for that little girl).
Google if you must the "kokoru fashion trend in Japan" and you'll see it has some pretty twisted originations along with the mentality of "forever young." Sailor Moon, Hello Kitty... all of these things are associated with anime.

Mike, wow! I am duly impressed...really impressed! That would mean, I assume, tha t we can also access "deleted" LiveJournal entries, yes? Wow! You deserve a medal! Thanks.
And, I could be wrong, but the little girl may be one of his daughters. There were some photos I seem to recall seeing elsewhere that were identified as his girls. At least one of those photos really gave me the creeps. I was going to notify LE to determine if his 2 girls might be in danger. But then LE came out with the pornography charges on Ben, and I assumed...and am confident now given how thorough they've been...that they then quickly moved to make sure his children were safe. JMHO.

Actually...I don't think that this is the case unfortunately, but I will look into it and get back to you. Im pretty sure that when you delete an entry on livejournal that it's as if you went in and deleted the content of that full size image, not just the link, at deviantArt. That's the best anology I can come up with.
But, come to think of it, I do know of something that may let me look back in time at his livejournal (and no it's not a time machine  ) I'll look into it and get back to you guys.
Glad I could help out!

OK, well I found out that we can look back into the history of his livejournal, or any other page, since there's a website that keeps archives of that. Unfortunately, this snapshot of his site was taken Oct. 1, 2004
http://web.archive.org/web/20041001025255/http://www.livejournal.com/users/skulz67/
To look at other addresses you might have just go to:
http://www.archive.org/web/web.php
enter in the address and then click on the date that you want. Also, most of the links on the archived page take you to archives of that linked page as well, so click away!
Hope this helps.

miken .. my daughter told me that I needed to take snapshots of some things online .. I have not a clue what she is talking about, but you mention it here.
Would you mind explaining this?? Much appreciated.

I'm not sure what your daughter was talking about, but all I mean by "snapshot" is that it was archived on that date. Basically they made a copy of all the stuff on his page and saved it. Your daughter could mean something else, I don't know. As to how to do it, in the case of the site I posted, it does it automatically like google does (which you guys should also try, that might keep a cache of his websites as well). But basically what the program does is copy the HTML code of the site and save it onto the archive's site. Easy as that.

Okay, I follow you so far. She said something about hitting the printscrn button. Maybe snapshot wasn't what she said. The conversation was about saving internet information to CD. And she said something about that. ARGH.
I hate being computer illiterate! Thank you Mike :)

Good job Mike, thanks for the full size as I have webtv and sometimes I cant see the smaller items posted, such as map detail, search warrants and such. Again thanks for a job well done.

Haha....of course it's ok. Hackers are just smart computer people who like to explore and figure things out but never do anything illegal. It's the crackers you have to watch out for. They're the ones running around defacing websites, breaking into government computers and writing viruses. They give us a bad name.
As for Print Screen, I see what you're talking about. She's saying that you can archive a page by hitting "print screen" and then pasting it as an image. The only problem with this is, it's only an image, not a copy of the actual HTML, meaning you can't click around at all. Hope that helps!
I have to go work at a kiosk for a while at my University, so I will be back a little later to answer any other questions any of you may have

On the journal Mike found, Ben talks (9-3-04) about 3 children (girls). My post earlier on this thread says daughter "Renee". I was puzzled because in Bens Nowhere Van site, there is a little girl the right age named Crystal. So "Renee" is the model name for his daughter. Just wanted to clear that up, not that it matters at all.
Focus, do you have the link to Ben's NowhereVan website. I haven't seen that one yet, might have missed the link here. Thanks

Anni,
Google "nowherevan". Bet you'll come up with tons of links. I think that's how I originally found his site(s).
I have been reading this board and following the event in this case and I finally decided to post. I appreciate your links Mike. In the one picture where Taylor is laying down on the bed....Notice the bed spread is black...From the photobucket of BF he had a picture of his bedroom posted and it was in black.
Also, notice the one picture with her head sticking out of the circular thing...She is wearing that dowoop shirt with a striped shirt underneath. If you look at her myspace page and look at her main photo she is wearing the same outfit.
Creepy...He took those pictures. Gives me the chills.
I am sorry if this was already pointed out but I thought it was interesting.

And BorderCollieMom, I just read here in one of BF's blogs that he was hoping to see Taylor AGAIN in April. They must have met up then and he took the pic(s). Im just guessing now. Sorry, off the cuff I dont remember where I read it, if I come across it I will post it.

There is something I'm only wondering about now, so don't make something out of this, but I see where BF talks about Ohio and that's where I live. A young beautiful model went missing from an OSU bar back a few mos. ago and she was found dead in a field....

Julie Popovich?
If so, it was their photos that struck me creepy. I have NO idea if anyone has checked the dates or anything... but I thought of her quickly too.

The latest news showed they have a suspect, but I believe it is still unsolved. She was found in similar conditions, mostly skeletal remains.
jmo
am i the only one who finds it disturbing that the julie popovich was found on the very day that taylor went missing or that popovich was found on "smothers" road??? coincidence or something more sinister?
i really feel bad for the behl family and i hope that the truth comes out somehow and soon so that justice can be served and they can continue to heal in as much peace as possible. unfortunately i feel in my gut that we have alot more to find out about mr fawley and his escapades and the post above mine just drilled that feeling home all the more. one more reason to be scared for my children. thank you for the links max....

well, we all know by now that Taylor is dead and that Mr. Fawley is responsible. He is claiming it was an accident, that they were having "kinky" sex (you know with the choking where one almost loses consciousness to enhance the sex) and he says he panicked and buried her in that area where they found her remains. I guess it will depend on what the LE finds and whether they can prove otherwise. It's strange cause I read on another site where BF posted a remark where he stated he had met someone and that (sexually) he wanted to try something different with her. well, I guess he did.

benefit. This is so scary that there are people like him in the world. The picture of the little girl is very disturbing and at first I thought it might be a
young Taylor, but then I realized it isn't. It's another one of BF's victims. If I posted on here
what they should do with sickos like him, I might get banned. BTW, I hope all his pictures eventually are removed from all society forever, just as he should be.

I think the picture of the little girl you are talking about is one of his daughters. I agree with you about removing all of his internet pictures forever. In the mean time I hope it's making him squirm to know that thousands of people around the world are digging him up on the internet and discovering first hand what a hard-core social deviant he really is. I read all the links that BF posted re: "his nowhere van". He actually named these vans "nowhere van 1 through nowhere van 4. He painted skulls on his vans and put stickers all over the outside with license plates lining the inside of the vans. Also, he had some type of wooden boxes on top of these vans and even had a girl (maybe a gf) get into one of the boxes to see if she fit in it. What that was about is kinda scary. Apparently he sure got around cause he posted pix of all the states and places he stopped while driving cross country.
As for the OSU missing girl case, he at one time had actually worked up in Worthington, which is just north of OSU campus and he frequented what he calls "Goth bars"...
Apparently he passed himself off as a student...he was the roommate of one of Taylor's friends at VCU, that's how she met him.
I know that casual sex is something that a lot of young ppl do, but isn't it a little scary about having sex with someone you barely know?? I'm not a prude here but look at what has happened in some of these missing young girl cases i.e. the Holloway girl in Aruba, Popovich in Cols. and then Taylor.
Young girls just need to know that they need to be more careful with whom they take up with. It's a scary world out there. JMO
the nowhere van is outright creepy. the first thing i thought of when i saw the boxes on the top was how they reminded me of coffins, however i had looked at several of the van pics but somehow missed the pic of the woman "testing" it out. this man is just disturbing to say the least.
i still wonder about the woman in ohio that was reported as found the day taylor went missing. ohio is not that far. is it possible BF is connected to this case too? ive looked around on the case but have seen nothing on a possible suspect or POI. i mean it is rather striking the resemblance in the girls' smiles and the similarities in the case. perhaps julie popovich being found that day was a catalyst for what BF did to taylor, for several possible reasons, be he involved (with the other case) or not? maybe he had known about the popovich case and was following it, fantasizing about doing something like that himself. i hadnt even herd of the popovich case until max posted the link above and its still eating at me the feeling i got when i read it.
im probably way off here but i wouldnt put anything past this BF guy. being a mother of 2 daughters myself it/he/people like him has me scared. this abduction/murder of young girls and women seems to be a growing and horrific trend and it feels like its almost impossible to protect your children anymore. so many questions, so few solid answers. i cant even begin to imagine how the family must feel.

Glad to hear there are some other folks out there who thought the boxes were not just some boy scout project. I was thinking more like "living tombs". Did you see all the TLC he put into putting "doors" on them, ventilating them "to pervent mold" or something like that, etc.? I just imagined him transporting his victims in there. On top of his NoWhereVans. Of course he made a big deal of making sure the locals, the news, and the police knew about his whacky vans. If he was "known" for driving these whacky vans around, then who would suspect him of anything but whackiness?

No wonder he kept getting into accidents with it - it's a massive distraction! :D
He obsesses over the most obsured things - bumpers, boxes [coffins - true!] on the roof, a rust spot...it is very easy to see how he can become overly obsessive of a girlfriend or a female he perceives to be a girlfriend.

When I read about all his accidents, there almost seemed to be too many. Wonder if there could have been any insurance scams going on to "supplement" his income. Of course, he appears to have a problem with drugs and alcohol so all those accidents could just have been from his being an impaired driver.
Who is Kit?
my guess is that kit would be his daughters mother? alot of the pics with kit in them also had a lil girl in them name krystal. hopefully she wasnt ever crazy enough to leave her/them alone with him. does anyone know of how old his daughters are and if they are to the same woman? i wonder what her thoughts are on all of this or what kind of relationship she has with him now.
ok, so i was bored, i used a webcrawler, pulled the source code out, used a find function to pull out hyperlinks only, and then find and replace to take out the portions of the urls that link to thumbnails. heres the outcome, all of the pictures are here, i did not filter any out. if you use save all of the the links into a tnew text document and replace all of the and 's with (blank) you will be able to import the text document into download accelerator pro so it will dowload them all into a folder on your comp, delete what you want later... sound confusing?? just click each link seperately then..

He obsesses over the most obsured things - bumpers, boxes [coffins - true!] on the roof, a rust spot...it is very easy to see how he can become overly obsessive of a girlfriend or a female he perceives to be a girlfriend.
Obsessive? You forgot to mention how he knows the exact number of bumper stickers he put on all his vehicles. He mentions that one of his vans had over 5,000 bumper stickers.
Where do you get 5,000 bumper stickers? If you forget the items he obsesses over for a minute and think of the behavior you can clearly see how detailed he is. He tracks mundane events of his life as though he is a statistician, yet other areas of his life are in shambles. He appears to be highly organized when he wants to be. This is one weird duck.

With all his obsessing over juvenile things, the way he documented everything online at various sites, the little asides he throws in, ie. "Gee what a nice gal," "I had to fix the rust myself," would or should have any adult turning the other way, it's no wonder he surrounded himself w/ young adults. He himself was no further advanced or mature than 23. Not meant to offend anyone, but he wouldn't fit in well in the adult world at all.

I've said this all along ...... he is so unappealing to mature women and would have zero chance at a long term relationship with someone his own age. His only chance was to lure young, immature girls into his world.
I think he used the photographer angle as much as he could. He has taken photos of Taylor and some of his other love interests as though they were models. Part of the plan if you asked me.
God knows his "skateboarding skilz" were not going to impress very many mature women.

Very true... in mid-20s, most people are taking big steps in their lives: starting careers, getting married, etc. But there are some who actively choose to stay in the juvenile world and waste away. I think BF knew exactly why he continued to act as if he were a college student... he wasn't one of those confused 30-somethings who still don't know what they want to do... he had a plan.

As a non-confused thirtysomething that has never left the world of the juvenile, I get it. I get that part, I really do. I get the not having a traditionally mature bone in my body & having nada in common with anyone in my age group. And it squicks me to even get *that* much. I don't like 'getting' any part of this guy.
His ideas of a 'plan' makes me queasy.

about maturity...this guy has not been convicted of anything yet as far as this case goes so i am not going to say this necessarily applies to him but i do have a little bit of knowledge about sex offenders and sex addicts and child molesters and i do believe it is common that they are stunted at some age emotionally. for instance i once knew a man who was interfered with at around age 12. now thought this man was a professional and always was able to handle maturely responsibility, he was emotionally unable to share. he had the emotional maturity of a 12 year old. the same thing happens with addicts and alcoholics. when something happens that dulls or numbs out our emotions, then we dont grow past that point emotionally. the reason for this is that in order to grow emotionally we need to have experience remaining present and growing through emotions. that said this is why so many people are emotional retards. even extremely intelligent people can be emotional tards.

I think Ben Fawley is deficient with respect to emotional intelligence. It would be great to be able to act like a 15 year old throughout life but life has a way of handing responsibility down to us as we age. Most accept it and become responsible adults who recognize maturity and take ownership of their actions. Some fall through the cracks and behave below their calendar years.
It would be much more fun to think and act like I was 15 again. It would be easier to defer my responsibilities to someone else while I get to "play" all day long but that just isn't going to happen. Emotional intelligence tells me that the clock on my life has moved to a point in which I am accountable for an adult life. Sure I have my moments when I digress but for the most part I get up every morning and go to my big fat corporate job, keep my family life in tact, and provide a living that keeps me and my family solvent.
Emotional intelligence does not allow me to keep my buddy list filled with people half my age nor does it allow me to skateboard through life with adolescents. It is no longer acceptable to pursue romantic relationships with girls in their teens (or even early 20's for that matter). I don't have a formal list to tell me these things but I refer to my life experiences, my values, and social order to carve my behavior accordingly.
Somewhere along the path Benny-boy decided not to follow his statutory evolution and remained in a world of adolescence. Surrounded himself with people he should not be chronically socializing with. Sleeping with girls he should not be around. Behaving in a manner consistent with a juvenile delinquent. He failed to conform to the life that a 38 year old should have. We live in a world of free choices but the flip-side is accountability. Ben Fawley chose the life he lived and he will have to live with the consequences of his actions. Emotionally intelligent or not he is about to discover the adult world of accountability. I doubt he is going to like it.

Wow, that's insightful, especially in relation to addicts. Thanks

hey tn_profiler
i read with interest and admiration your post about emotional intelligence, maturity and accountability. i wanted to ask if it is not too personal if you could describe your childhood for us? how did you learn this accountability thing? in a 2 parent home? any exposure to drugs, alcohol, prostitution, gambling addictions? like how did you know this? were you just born with it?
i will tell you why i ask. i am in a therapy for adults with childhood post traumatic stress disorder. this proactive therapy is based on what is known about the normal developmental stages a childs brain goes through from birth to adulthood. the reason they know that this therapy works is that it has completely cured a handful of vietnam veterans. it has to do with the interruption in the brain due to dissociation due to trauma that was too intense for a child's mind to comprehend. so whenever i hear of people who seemingly turned out pretty normal, i wonder what their childhood was like. what values were they taught and by whom. oh yeah and is profiler a real job or is it a hobby or a nik?
thanks-lori

I'm very curious what BF's IQ would be based on his emotional immaturity, I wonder how much that would effect his measurable IQ?
It is still my armchair psych opinion that he has undiagnosed borderline personality disorder, and this would be in line w/ the theory of his emotional development being stunted by abuse and trauma.:read:

I hope my post did not confuse my thoughts about Ben's IQ. I think he is intelligent but I do not think he is "emotionally intelligent." If you sift around his many web sites I think you can see he was operating with a solid functional intelligence relating to technical skills. That being said I also don't consider him a genius either. We all have varying degrees of strengths when it comes to intelligence.
When a 38 year old man is behaving as if he is 15, then it is clear he has development issues with his emotional function.
Personality disorder? Yes, I can agree with that. His behavior fits that pattern. Unfortunately many people struggle through life being misdiagnosed. Sad, but true. It still does not excuse the actions that lead to the death of a young, vibrant girl.
