Taylor's dorm mate

Have the police asked her dorm mate to take a polygraph? I believe
they should. Something is not right with that dorm situation. Also, I thought
opposite sex friends weren't allowed in dorm rooms. Has this changed? Thanks in advance.

and almost all students will know how/can get around security and log-in Id issues.. I have slept in over a dozen canadian university dorms that require ID, and I've never once shown it.. As long as the person 'appears' as if they belong, or the person staying in the dorm knows when security is around or not.. At the local(in Ottawa) university, you can go to the MAIN res.(which has securty/info desk next to the doors) and just stand at the door and wait for someone on the inside to open it, and noone will say a word to you.. They just assume you lost your key, or left it at your dorm.

Anyway, just thought i would extend my experience as a student now.. *waves* see ya

I was not making light of it, my point was to point out that people are reckless, and also that it shouldn't be a roommate, nor an RA's job to protect someone. If there is security FOR this purpose, then SECURITY shoulddo their job.
the majority of college students are adults. I wasn't stating what I did, to say it isn't dangerous, nor did I do it to say it's a smart thing to do. I posted it to inform someone who asked a question, what I have experienced in dorms. I've seen both girls AND guys make stupid choices/risks in college, it's not just women who make stupid decisions.

I don't like to give my opinions at all on boards - people think so differently from each other that I'm terrified that someone will take what I say personally. So I try to just stick to the facts.

I understand what you are saying - at 18 I very much thought I was invincible, and getting around the rules was always a challenge. "Responsibility" was not my middle name!! lol!!

It's always easy to look back and see where better choices could have been made.
