The case of Sharra Ferger resembles that of Carlie's and Jessica, and all the other children that have been abducted, raped, and murdered.
What is different about this one, is that 2 men where arrested and charged. One, is the Uncle of Sharra, the other, knew Sharra and was a Juvenille at the time of the murder.
The age difference between the 2 defendants is odd, IMO.
This is a case that I remember well and have followed through the years.
"Her body was discovered Oct. 3, 1997, face down in a field near her Blanton home, authorities say, hours after she was lured out into the dark by someone familiar to her.
Four years later, two were indicted in connection with the killing: Cannon, 25, a family acquaintance, and Gary Elishi Cochran, Sharra's 39-year-old uncle. Eight years later, after countless legal delays, Cannon is the first to be tried in her slaying."

This case has had up and downs through the years. Including a scandal when the expertise of a Dentist used by the State indicted an innocent man. He spent 6 months in jail and later sued the Sheriff Dept. and won.
The case was cold for many years after that initial arrest.
:rose: Justice for Sharra
