40 times. Geez.
It doesn't sound like a suicide pact to me. From the article...
"Hernandez was also charged with attempted murder in a failed plot to kill another classmate at the same time in the same restroom the day before Gough was slain."
Did that child have a suicide pact with him too?

Believe it or not, this school was not in a "bad" neighborhood, it serves an area of Miami where homes are $300k and up. South of Coral Gables. These are not kids who live in poverty. Goes to show you that it can happen anywhere. Unfortunately, the kid will get some pansy sentence-we can't seem to discipline our kids, someone will feel sorry for him.
WoW!! It amazes me at the things I read anymore!!!
How could it be a "suicide pact" if there were defense wounds on his hands tho from trying to protect himself? Seems to me if it was a suicide pact, he wouldn't have been fighting to spare his life....

If it was a suicide pact, then one would think somewhere between the 40 or so stabs, the perpetrator would have stabbed himself once or twice...
Just another tragic story of murder in our schools.
How sad.
