That was denied. But just yesterday, the local news was talking about the request being made, yet again.

The DA is also ready to finally return Mark's puter, camera, etc. all the stuff that was taken during the investigatoin.

"John Couey, accused of kidnapping and killing 9-year-old Jessica Lunsford of Homosassa, will learn if his judge will walk away from the case today.

The hearing will be in Circuit Judge Ric Howard's courtroom to discuss a defense request Howard step down from Couey's case. Couey's lawyers said they're concerned Couey won't get a fair trial.
